Students and their parents can click on the ‘My Progress’ tab to see completed units for Supershark and any work completed in the other courses under ‘Free Play’.

Based on the 3 spell check games!

It is important to remember that the ‘My Progress’ and individual reports for the pupils are based on the three spell check games Spell check, Maze spell and Moving spell check. If a pupil does not actively play one of these games in ‘Free Play’ there will be no records. Supershark, the automated course, and set work enforce the spell check games periodically.
Viewing Set Work progress
Pupils, and therefore parents, can see progress for set work under the ‘My set work’ tab. It does not measure games played as pupils will vary in how many games will be needed before they reach the ‘mastered’ score. It is measured against completed lists. For example, if a piece of work has 4 lists and the pupil has mastered one list, the progress bar will show the first block filled in dark blue. After two completed lists, two blocks will be filled.
The blocks are colour coded as:
- Grey means the list/s have not yet been started
- Light blue is the list in progress
- Dark blue means the list has been mastered.
NB: if only one list is given as set work, the progress bar will only show one block. The block will be light blue to show started but will then not change until the list is mastered; at that point the set work will become “completed” and the block will be dark blue.

Teachers have a more detailed view of the set work and how the students have performed for each list within the set work, along with any error words. Weekly Pop-Up
Pupils also receive a weekly pop-up if they completed any work in the previous week up to midnight on Sunday (UK Time). This gives an overview of their Supershark course along with the total time spent playing games and all the words spelt accurately during that week – this is for all modes of work.

Exporting records to show parents
It is also possible for a teacher to export records as pdf. These could be sent home to parents or added to workbooks for parents to see at parents’ evenings/meetings.
